The Team

Matthew was raised in Allen, TX - about 20 miles northeast of Dallas. He received a Bachelor of Music - Composition from Louisiana State University in 2016 and a Master of Pastoral Ministry - Church Management from the University of Dallas in 2018. An avid runner since his time at university, he has run 8 half marathons, including the 2025 Semi de Paris, and consistently voices inclusivity in fitness, believing the pursuing physical wellness to be a human right. His work in the Catholic Church has connected him with migrants and refugees from around the world, learning about their experiences, and advocating for their dignified treatment. He began Momentum Productions to share the intersectional stories of migrants engaging in athletics in the United States of America. Beyond film, he enjoys exploring the world through food, coffee, and activities.
